To create QR codes with contact details, our app needs access to your contacts. This lets you quickly select a contact without typing it out. We don’t store any of your contact data—it's only used for making the QR code.

App Permissions

  • To provide core features and enhance your experience, Clock Lite requests the following app permissions:

    • FOREGROUND_SERVICE_PHONE_CALL
      Used to display a post-call screen that allows users to quickly access call-related actions such as adding reminders, messaging, and opening related apps. This service is short-lived and starts immediately after a call ends. It helps ensure the screen appears consistently across Android versions.

    • READ_PHONE_STATE (if applicable)
      Allows the app to detect when a phone call has ended to trigger the post-call experience. We do not record, store, or transmit call content or caller information.

    • READ_CONTACTS
      Required to generate QR codes from selected contact details. The app does not store or upload your contacts — access is only used locally for generating the QR code.

    • POST_NOTIFICATIONS
      Allows us to show relevant foreground service notifications (required by Android policy) when features such as after-call actions are active.

    • INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_STATE
      Used to check network connectivity for loading ads or analytics data.

    • VIBRATE
      Used to provide optional haptic feedback when performing certain actions.

  • All permissions are used strictly for functionality described in this policy. We do not misuse, sell, or share your personal data or device information. Users can revoke any permission at any time in system settings, though some features may be limited.
